Has it ever happened to you when your so called "EGO" has come between you and the person you really adore - your parents, friends, boyfriend or girlfriend?? At one point or another, there comes a time in a relationship where there are ego clashes between two persons. And I am not talking bout any relationship but bout those who really matter..
Now i give you something to ponder upon. If you know that you really love a person, then from where the hell this "EGO" thing crops up in between?? I mean, that certainly ain't right, is it? According to me, Ego is an essential quality which a person must have. But when it comes to relationships, ego can be devastating... It can ruin them forever!!
You know, when you look back at the times when your ego has taken over love, you'll realise that it was a mistake after all. Dignity is one thing, which should not be lost at any cost. But its sometimes okay if you put your ego aside, especially for the ones you love. And, after all, love is the most beautiful thing that a person can do...

well sakshi ur right EGO can be a cause for breaking up of relationships as u said be it be with ur frnd , ur girlfrnd , ur boyfrnd or whom so ever with .......... nd ur also right bout that when ppl confuse dignity with EGO ...... from my personal xperience EGO has not been a prblm for me but i've seen many relations broken just bcoz of it ....
umm..yea thts pretty much rite...loves the best thing a person can give or get..in his life...nd if ya gonna mix it wid this EGO thing...ure lifes ruined man..!!
well pretty much rite,but ego does come in handy sometimes,like when the person before u is just fooling around with u n ur emotions or someones just pulling u of ur limits,just a matter of experience i feel,but one things right in a relationship defining itself,ego can end it up completely so stay aware guys if u wan't to that is..........
to put it in very simple words......its best to judge an EGO situation by asking ourselves'whts mre imprtant......the arguement or the person??" when u gt the answer.....u know wht to do!!:)
i read this post the day it was put up...was facing a very similar situation and thru a coincidence landed upon this post...
i've had 3 months of pondering on this issue and much has changed since..
Basically EGO is the cause of all pains..and this is a deep statement. I know a preliminary argument would be to say ego is fine as it brings along self respect...but if u ask me, that is only ONE of the ways to bring self respect into ur persona...ego is not self respect...it is an illusion of self respect...and that is one thing, which once a person is sure abt, and practiced in real life, could make a lot of difference.
